We had the pleasure of working with Bridge DeLong and John Bettis in Fall of 2024. They were extremely helpful in finding a perfect second home for our family. We live in Washington DC and traveling to Maine for each opening was not very feasible for us. After we explained our search criteria to John, he was able to organize a trip that covered many properties across the Acadia National Park area in three days. Bridge then met us at each of the properties providing a lot of great insights about living in Maine. He asked seller agents the questions we would not even think of. He is very knowledgeable in home construction and home systems. He had a few phone apps and access to resources that helped us determine property boundaries and even research boat navigation routes (it was important for us to have deep water access for our boat and be sure that we can get to the bay/ocean). After seeing the place, we had some hesitation, but Bridge set up a few Zoom meetings with us allowing us to see the place even after we left the area. He also met with the home inspector and helped us to decipher the inspector's home report. Bridge scheduled house winterization with a local plumbing company and recommended us a great company for addressing a few septic tank problems. He went above and beyond ensuring that we had a great buying experience in Maine. We were very lucky to be in such great hands throughout this journey. We highly recommend Bridge for finding the right Maine home for you and your family.
