John was the ideal partner. He has a vast knowledge of the market, the people, and the local resources. He was available to us day and night, he and his team went out of their way to adjust to our schedules. He literally knows everyone from trades people to the other agents. He has sold so many of the properties in the region that he was able to give us reliable information on pricing, value, and costs. Met John virtually as I hunted for my new home. He was extremely knowledgeable and was able to keep me in the loop, always. He knows Maine, cares about his customers and tries to find what they truly wish in New home. Found mine and am extremely happy with it's location and the home itself. Recommend him to one and all. Would go to him again if I wished to sell this one or buy again.

We had the pleasure of working with John Bettis and Bridge DeLong in Fall of 2024. They were extremely helpful in finding a perfect second home for our family. We live in Washington DC and traveling to Maine for each open house was not very feasible for us. After we explained our search criteria to John, he was able to organize a trip that covered many properties across the Acadia National Park area in three days. Busy days they were but they helped us in settling on the Blue Hill area and finding the right waterfront property for our family. John helped us to negotiate the price, find a home inspector, and recommend an expert in radon mitigation systems. Throughout the whole process we exchanged hundreds of emails. John handled every twist in a very professional and courteous manner giving us a great representation of a highly-skilled real estate professional. We highly recommend working with John if you are looking for a Maine Getaway. We worked with him long distance from Ohio and his daily emails based on our search criteria were incredibly helpful in learning about availability and price points in different areas. We have visited Maine for many years and had some idea about where we wanted to be but also wanted to keep our options open. On our summer vacation this year we met John personally and visited several properties with him. We ultimately were able to find and purchase a property that we love with his guidance and help. John is extremely responsive and very knowledgeable about many areas in Maine. He was able to coordinate our limited schedule with many listing agents . It was a pleasure working with John and the outcome was a great success and quicker than we anticipated.
