Our buyers agent was Evelyn Conrad and she was amazing! She was on the ball, always messaging us back immediately, whether we had a question about a potential home that was for sale or getting answers to questions from the sellers agent, once we found the home that we ended up purchasing. When she didn't know the answers, she quickly got in touch with the right people to get the answers needed. During the search process, Evelyn went out of her way to accommodate our tight schedule for looking at potential homes, getting us in to see houses when it was most convenient for us. Her upbeat personality, knowledge of the local real estate market and ambition to get things done smoothly, was a godsend to us. My wife and I were on the hunt for a house and had worked with Manon previously when we sold our house a few years ago in Hampden. Evelyn as part of Manon's team was excellent to work with throughout our very quick purchase as we were moving back to Hampden from Southern Maine. Evelyn and Manon worked quickly to setup showings during COVID-19 and we looked at 6 houses in one afternoon. On April 2nd we made an offer which Evelyn executed flawlessly and we closed on April 30th. Evelyn was instrumental and made sure that no details were missed. Evelyn was recommended to us by a mutual friend. She was very professional, positive and very supportive throughout the entire experience. She kept us all up to date on any and all paperwork that was required. She was readily available to us whenever we had any questions or concerns. We sold our house and purchased another one on the same date. She was our agent for both transactions. We highly recommend her to anyone that is considering selling or buying a home.

Evelyn was always professional, reassuring and encouraging. She looked out for our best interest and worked hard for the best outcome. With Evelyn’s help we were able to purchase our dream home. She also helped us to sell our home quickly and knew exactly what we needed to do to accomplish this. Evelyn is an excellent realtor for many reasons. First, she is responsive. She was always quick to answer my calls or get back to me after leaving a message. Second, she listens and follows through. It is easy for realtors to listen to your “home-related wishes” but it is hard for them to follow through. I know some realtors who will listen in the moment and later will disregard “wishes” when new listings appear. Evelyn always remembered my mandatory needs and my I-can-live-without needs when deciding to show or not show me a listing. Third, she was honest but not bossy. I trusted her right away because she tells you like it is. She is honest about what does not look right, what does not look right but could be fixed, and what looked right but was maybe an issue. She knows her stuff. And in the rare situations she didn’t understand something, she told me!!! Talk about trust. Fourth, she is patient. She never rushed a viewing, or rushed me off the phone, or rushed me to pick a house. Overall, Evelyn is a great realtor and one that I highly recommend.

Evelyn was absolutely amazing!! She guided us through the entire process and answered all of our questions. We couldn’t have done it without her!! If you’re looking to sell your home or buy one for that matter, Evelyn Conrad of Realty of Maine is the woman to go to!!
