My fiance and I worked with Ashlee Simpson Black and her team through the Simpson Team at Realty of Maine. We were the perfect storm: first-time homebuyers who were relocating from nearly 4 hours away to our hopeful new home and needing to find new places of employment. All of this while simultaneously continuing to work full time and navigating a global pandemic. Ashlee was our rock through this process. If there were hang ups, there was no way to know because the process felt so seamless. We were able to complete in-person home tours prior to the pandemic. With all of the guidelines and regulations that came with the pandemic we were able to complete virtual (video conferencing) tours of homes we had interest in. Then we could visit the home we thought we'd want in-person. We actually found our home this way 🙂. It was extremely convenient since we lived so far away. All of the electronic communication, documents and signatures made the process feel streamlined and less stressful vs. Having to shuffle and organize so much paperwork from one place to the next. Ashlee maintained a very positive and supportive demeanor through this entire process. She observed all safety precautions and diligently followed all guidelines related to the pandemic. She supported us by answering any and all questions or directing us to the people who could. She supported us with providing recommendations for home inspectors and guiding us to ensure we set up with the utility companies for the home. She ensured we were able to complete time sensitive tasks on time. We appreciated her availability and responsiveness, even on weekends and evenings! She felt like a new friend. Now, we have a beautiful first home that we can see building our life together in. We have Ashlee to thank in great part for helping us find what we wanted.
