When we set out to sell our waterfront home in Eastport, ME, we knew it was probably going to be a long process. The market was focused on lower priced home, and not second homes.
Georgie was certain that our home could sell for a reasonable price. She recognized what made our place special and separated it from other properties. She understands the market, knows the details of the area, and knows how to sell real estate. With skill, she helped us set a price and advised us as to when/if we should consider holding or lowering the price, and eventually became a steady support as we were getting a little discouraged because while there was a lot of interest, offers were from bottom fishing or people who wanted to flip our house.
She was there for us. When we weren’t in the area, she brought flowers from her garden to a showing. She paid attention to the property for every opening. She was immediate in giving us updates and feedback from people who had seen the property. She was attuned to prospective buyer reactions, some of which guided her in her suggestions for holding the price and being patient. She was prompt and careful with any paper work and legal documents, and the kept the process moving steadily forward. Perhaps more than anything, Georgie is a lovely woman.
