I have lived here all my life and LOVE the DOWNEAST  region.  Fresh air,  stars at night,  walks in the woods,  swimming in the lakes or ocean,  leaves changing colors,  apple picking,   holidays with family,   playing in the snow,  gathering with friends,  some quiet downtime,  anticipation of spring,  growing flowers and vegetables,  planting the gardens, and completing the circle of doing it all over again !  Every year with the changing seasons has its ups [...]

Welcome to Downeast Maine ! I have lived here all my life and LOVE the DOWNEAST  region.  Fresh air,  stars at night,  walks in the woods,  swimming in the lakes or ocean,  leaves changing colors,  apple picking,   holidays with family,   playing in the snow,  gathering with friends,  some quiet downtime,  anticipation of spring,  growing flowers and vegetables,  planting the gardens, and completing the circle of doing it all over again !  Every year with the changing seasons has its ups and downs but I wouldn"t trade it for anything . I love my family,and have 3 children and 9 grandchildren who keep me running . The little ones are my sunshine and amazes me to watch them learn and play. They love to spend the night with Mimi and Papa and keep us on our toes.  My husband Ray and I love to go to antique car shows and he 's proud of his 55 chevy .We have an antique/gift group store in Cherryfield and are involved in many projects that our town does, We love that we can visit anyplace in the world but can always come home to our small town living !
