Kyla was born and raised in Maine, a graduate of Old Town High School.  She spent 8 years on active duty in the Marine Corps spending time in Japan, Hawaii and Virginia while simultaneously completing her Bachelors of Business Administration.  After being honorably discharged she returned to Maine to raise her two children, who are now adults. In addition to being a Realtor, Kyla is also a Certified Public Accountant specializing in audit, small business tax, and not for profit accounting. Kyla was awarded her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Maine in 2018.

Following a somewhat unconventional career path, her experiences as Marine, public accountant, non-profit employee and (her favorite) a mother, make her an extremely well rounded professional.  Although she spent eight years away from Maine, she couldn't be any happier to be back, and assisting those who share her love for this beautiful state.

Kyla currently resides in Old Town with her two rescue dogs, Hunter and Bella, and enjoys spending time outside running and hiking with her fur babies. In her spare time she volunteers as the treasurer for River City Athletics, a local youth soccer program.
