He has worked in law enforcement as an officer in several Maine towns, held a supervisory position at Kohl's Department Store, worked as a Maine State Park Ranger, and coached middle school Orono track and field.  Jonathan also brings his past experience working under home construction contractors to the realty field.  Currently, he is a local director for a global children’s organization called Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) and serves as pastor of a rural Maine church.

Jonathan is married to Jolene Ray (Belanger), a former Bangor cross-country and track athlete.  Jolene obtained a Communication/New Media Degree at UMO. 

Born and raised in Maine, Jonathan and Jolene have six children.  He takes pride in the fact he obtained his private pilot’s license at age 17.  He enjoys airplanes, hunting and fishing.  Jonathan understands Maine living, Maine people and is ready to work for you
